Comment: This recommended practice for litigation and arbitration is still often associated with its most prominent instruction – the Toll Collect arbitration proceedings. Other specialist fields have, however, evolved alongside this: BB is often present in D&O matters, for instance, while disputes in the energy and auto industries have also developed into a focal point. The litigation experts now work closely together with the Munich energy law team, esp. in connection with price adjustment clauses and offshore projects. Instructions are also handled together with the ?antitrust lawyers, e.g. work for claimants in the truck cartel. In all, however, many competitors are further ahead of BB when it comes to cross-practice collaboration, which might go toward explaining why the firm’s market presence is fairly small, also given the size of the practice.
