Comment: A recommended M&A practice which has enjoyed an upswing since the arrival of a team last year and is developing strategically. Görg has been best known for distressed M&A for years and has now set about sharpening its deal focus with an integrated M&A and PE group. Initial success was seen in mid-cap ?private equity. Laterals in Hamburg and Frankfurt also helped Görg widen its client base. Other practices like employment and antitrust are incorporated increasingly often, and interoffice work is more common. The M&A practice is thus driving internal change.
