LICHTENSTEIN KÖRNER und PARTNER

Comment: Because of its solid connections to Porsche and large German Mittelstand companies like Würth, this Stuttgart firm is among those respected in trademarks and unfair competition. The IP partners are renowned for their litigation experience, but are no longer considered as visible by competitors. This may be because LKP has not regained its previous strength since the spinoff last year when it lost US clients and young partners. An experienced associate went to CMS, but LKP quickly closed the gap with an experienced litigation specialist from Weickmann, who brought good contacts among Dutch companies.
Recommended: Prof. Dr. Thomas Sambuc, Dr. Kerstin Gründig-Schnelle, Dr. Rolf Diekmann.
Practice: Advice and litigation in all IP areas (incl. patents). The firm also has an international trademark registration practice. In unfair competition, active to an equal extent in litigation and advice. Particular specialty in cases of unfair imitation. (3 equity partners, 1 salary partner, 2 associates)
Clients: ?? All-round trademark administration, border confiscation work and litigation for Porsche; Ethical Coffee Company regarding 3D trademark; Adolf Würth, Peter Hahn, Garmo and Confiserie Heilemann on trademarks; all-round IP activity for EnBW and AWG Mode; German engineering corporate on trademarks; design litigation for Swiss shoe manufacturer concerning shoe soles.
