Pluta

Comment: A firm highly recommended in insolvency administration which has displayed impressive dynamic growth for three years. Now, a well-known Düsseldorf administrator, Michael Bremen, and two other lawyers moved to Pluta, while the advisory branch was given a huge boost in the southwest with Steffen Beck’s whole firm (six lawyers) coming on board. Pluta is thus the driving force behind the concentration process in the sector. Despite the slump in proceedings, the younger administrators landed occasional appointments. As Pluta is gaining a footing in operational advice (e.g. to Basler Fashion), the course appears set for transferring the Pluta brand to the next generation. The firm suffered a setback in Barcelona, where a team of insolvency lawyers went to Rödl & Partner.
Strengths: Business continuations, transparent winding-up of proceedings.
Recommended: Michael Pluta, Dr. Martin Prager, Dr. Stephan Thiemann, Stephan Ammann, Stefan Meyer.

(16 partners, 55 further fee earners)
