Osborne Clarke

Osborne Clarke’s distribution law practice knows only one direction: up. The firm managed to develop out of its original core field of advice to auto dealers. In recent years, OC has constantly built on its specialty, so today it also stands at the side of numerous notable manufacturers in all industries. The appointment of Christoph Boeminghaus to partner last year lent further momentum to this development: he is advancing advice to the sport and fitness sector. The firm frequently impresses notable retail sector clients thanks to its international network. Bose, for instance, now puts its trust in the German lawyers too. Competitors frequently praise the team around practice heads Carsten Dau and Uwe Brossette as “absolutely first class”. But Osborne Clarke is branching out geographically as well as in terms of work: up to now, the team operated largely from Hamburg and Cologne. With new partner Dr. Thomas Grünvogel from CMS, the practice sent out a clear signal concerning the development of advice at the Munich office. His specialty in advising the auto sector, with clients including Schaeffler and PSA Group, rounds off the practice setup perfectly.
