Transactional Risk Broker (f/m/d)

The German business unit Private Equity and M&A Practice (PEMA) is part of the global PEMA Practice with 200 employees. Marsh PEMA Practice develops solutions that help corporations, private equity firms, alternative asset managers, lenders, and infrastructure investors manage M&A risks. Our dedicated team of advisors and attorneys worldwide works across Marsh and other Marsh & McLennan Companies businesses to help provide specialized, industry-specific depth.

Marsh Private Equity and M&A Services (PEMA) Practice solutions include:

    • Mergers and acquisitions risk and insurance due diligence
    • Lender due diligence and advisory
    • Infrastructure project risk management and due diligence
    • Transactional risk solutions tailored to address issues such as warranties and indemnities (W&I), tax opinions, existing litigation and environmental issues
    • Fund-level risk solutions such as management and professional liability
    • Portfolio strategies for purchasing and cost savings

    Your will work together with and support our Transactional Risk Team in:

    • Management of placement procedures in relation of transactional risk solutions
    • The collaboration and business development with international law firms, investment banks and business consultants, in particular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
    • The autonomous development of the underlying terms and conditions by self-reliant negotiations with the relating insurers
    • Managing insurer relationships and developing W&I insurance coverage according to clients need with W&I insurance market

    In all operations and tasks, you refer to the vast resources of the MMC network.

    What you need to have:

    • At least a qualified diploma as business lawyer (Dipl.-Wirtschaftsjur. (FH)) or a First State Exam in Law (1. Staatsexamen) or a corresponding degree from a foreign university with excellent academic performance
    • Excellent command of German and English language (spoken and written)
